Question by chuck.mush: If a person traded his gas guzzler in for a “Green” car, and took advantage of the “rebate,” what would happen?
If none of them could make their payments for their new car? Would the Government come and bail all the car buyers out?

This is similar to all those mortgage loans that they doled out, knowing the purchasers couldn’t pay back the note. Now we’re going to have all these car loans out that can’t be paid back.

You should be able to find a New Beetle for around 8k-10k that is in really good condition. Of course you can find cheaper but when cars are too cheap it is for a reason.

Allow extra attention to your daughters immunity as it said in the article. If she has been in contact with the mold, and by chance was eating finger food a snack, she could have easily given leeway for the bacteria to weaken her immune system…

The most important thing would be to make it really lightweight and aerodynamic. To make it “stay on the road in the wind” is the tricky part: I would use railroads instead of flat pavement roads. Likewise, the railroads would be computerized to reduce the likelihood of crashes. That way people won’t feel like they need a huge SUV or pickup to be safe. I think electrifying the railroads would be good so that each car could be electric without the pitiful performance of batteries or solar. The electricity would be generated in modern fuel efficient power plants with the highest standards or pollution control. Realistically though, it would be a lot easier if people didn’t live so dang far from work.
