Please make clear whether the face of this car either is cicada or stag beetle.

I have the sonata hybrid premium. Get 45mpg hwy @ 65-78mph (important to use cruise cntrl, or drops to 38.). With mixed driving, getting 32-38. Handling is incredible, power is not lacking. Ive never had a new car where so many strangers approach me and rave about it. Its appearance is ultra modern, high quality, and sporty(It looks expensive). Whether this is good or bad is up to you. Features equal the Acura TSX, but looks far better! I see the Acura drivers jealous stares at stops!

If Charlie Sheen got this, he would finally be winning at something.

@andragachew Because of the problems with other Asian makers’ patents AND sorry but this car is not fuel efficient at all (besides the already known poor reliability of hyundai). Who knows about cars never buy hyundai, that’s for sure. The non-hybrid makes better number, shame on mediocre-hyundai, always lying, always selling rubbish.

@hankalz if you check out the Asian versions of these cars (non-US versions) you would see they are 20x better than what we have here! Don’t know why they don’t release those cars there tho…

@smilekatherinex I don’t know where u live but unluckly just in USA, Hyundai sonata has been selling without panorama sunroof, they have just regular sunroof; I don’t know why. However, not only in korea but also other country could see the Sonata which has whole black top with sunroof, namely panoramic sunroof. Otherwise, Hybrid sonata basicly has black top with panoramic sunroof like that.

@kingfarticus , All hybrids look weird. At least it’s the best looking weird hybrid…although in person, you might find it pretty attractive…it’s much different than what you see on the computer.

BTW, it’s not Hondai …. it’s Hyundai like..Sunday…it’s not that freakin’ hard…I don’t get it.

  11. SyncAhead on September 6th, 2011 8:20 am

Toyota or Honda has nothing on Hyundai….Hyundai holds the throne and will continue to do so…no one has to wait 10 years to find out anything, that was pretty stupid to say….Hyundai is confident and the numbers prove it. Check the sales log and see who’s ripping it. Umm I think it says, Hyundai/Kia ….

How come the top of this hybrid looks black but on all the other hybrids the top is white? I like the black on the top.
