I have an older Buick Century and an Acura MDX. It cost about $ 100 per week in gas for my Buick and over $ 150 for the Acura. That means that I spend more than $ 12000 in gas for the year at this price. Is Obama correct that this is necessary?

Lamborghini LP570-4 Superleggera in Action – Ride Rev Accelerations Fly Bys

I went for a ride in a friend’s brand new Lamborghini LP570-4 SL at the Monza racetrack. The exterior of the car comes in Bianco Moncerus while the interior is black all over alcantara and carbon fiber. Also, the exhaust is no more stock and it has been changed with the same one of the Lamborghini LP560-4 SuperTrofeo race car. Vid shows a couple of laps in Sport and in Corsa mode, a battle with an orange LP560-4, some flybys and revving scenes. Top speed in the vid around 290km/h in 6th gear. What is a video green screen and how it can add more value to your video or image?

Green screen is a technique used in photography and film making to merge two entirely different images or frames. Green screen technology is also popular as chroma key, blue screen, color keying and color separation overlay. This technology has got huge popularity and usage after the evaluation of digital compositions.

Implementation of Green Screen technique involves in shot making and editing parts of film making. The basic process involves making a shot or image with our subject in the foreground and a huge green or blue screen in the background. Then taking another shot with the background we want and this time without our subject.

For example, if you want to make a film having a scene where a person (our subject) will be hit by a car. As it is practically difficult to make such a shot in reality, we will shoot the person “enacting like he was hit” with green screen or blue screen on background. Then we will shoot a car going on the road. So, basic principle is to merging two videos by replacing the green screen in the back ground of first video with the second video ( car on the road ). This process is called color keying.

So after making two different videos we can merge both of them with any popular editing software. It can be done in almost all editing or post-production software like Apple’s Final Cut Pro and Adobe’s After Effects.

The advantage of this technique is the you can choose what kind of back ground image or frame you want. Some times you can shoot both the shots individually and merge together (as I explained in the above example). And in some other cases you can merge a physically shot image or frame with a computer graphics generated image or frame. I will give you an example for the later case. If you want make a video involving a person in a bomb blast then, we can shoot the person with green screen on background and generate bomb blast with CGI and merge both of them.

Why Green or Blue? It is not a thumb rule that we cannot use any other color. But green or blue are preferred as these colors are in opposite hue to the human skin tone. Out of green and blue these days most of the film makers are going with green as the new generation digital cameras can capture green better than any other color.

One of the most common poor driving habits of Floridians. When I see a 90 year old senior citizen do this, I instantly want to park my car and walk. But I guess there is no guarantee that they wouldn’t drive up on the sidewalk and plow into me while I am walking either.

New research from the University of Nevada shows that it is possible to obtain oil from old coffee grounds. The biofuel produced could be a cheap alternative and there is potential to produce many millions of gallons per year.

Dr. Manoranjan Misra, Director, Renewable Energy Center Professor, Materials Engineering Division, came across the concept by chance. When he returned to a cup of coffee that he had left out over night, he observed a thin layer of oil was present around the edges of the cup. Dr. Misra then did a few laboratory testings on coffee grounds and found that it contained around ten to fifteen percent oil. Afterwards, he turned the oil into biodiesel. Starbucks then furnished plenty of leftover coffee grounds to be employed for further analysis.

Findings show that coffee grounds turn into a more stable fuel than former attempts involving corn and soy. It is also greener having reduced co2 emissions. The biodiesel may be manufactured for more or less one dollar per gallon because the process is not exceptionally demanding. Apparently, even the fuel has smell of cofee. So possibly within a few years there’s a chance you will be driving around in a car hire in Sydney smelling like coffee.
